Congratulations to Port Coquitlam on their new Strategic Plan. Adopted by Council on June 13, the plan outlines Port Coquitlam's new vision, mission and goals for the next 10 years. Lucent is pleased to have been part of the process, which included developing the consultation plan and implementing the first two phases, as well as assisting with drafting the strategic plan. Lucent also worked with Port Coquitlam staff to develop and implement a comprehensive supporting communications plan to help increase participation. More than 1300 people participated in the consultation program, including the highest ever participation in an online survey conducted by the City as well as significant staff participation. Lucent is pleased to announce the appointment of Rob MacKay-Dunn as Manager, Client Services and Elizabeth Robbins as Communications Consultant.
Elizabeth brings a wealth of experience from a variety of communications and marketing postions in the finance, engineering and non-profit sectors, which will be a tremendous asset to Lucent's existing and future clients.
Rob joins Lucent with extensive expertise specific to Lucent's transportation and infrastructure clients. His experience with stakeholder engagement, social media and online consultation tools will further broaden our ability to provide our clients with customized and innovative communications solutions.

Thanks to our clients and friends who joined us at Boneta Restaurant to celebrate 2010 - another year filled with successful opportunities and valued partnerships. With fabulous food and amazing company, we raised $425 for Room to Read, which was matched by the not for profit organization for a total of $850.
